Acquisitions
We are always interested on buying valuable and rare books within our range of subjects. Architecture, design and photography, Berlin/ Brandenburg and travel guides e.g. Baedeker/Meyer.
We pay cash for single items as well as whole collections or estates, mainly from the 19th to the end of the 20th century. We guarantee a professional and fair transaction.
We are happy to advise collectors, heirs, libraries and other institutions with regard to public auctions or sales. You will benefit from our three decades of experience. We are also happy to inspect larger collections on site.

Research
Unterwegs does research for you on specific topics, edits your search lists and creates proposals for your desired subjects. We support curators in their search for exhibition objects and help libraries and institutes with acquisitions.
Auctions
You don’t have the time to participate in auctions? Would you like to remain anonymous? Are written bids too uncertain for you? Unterwegs represents you at important auctions, viewing the objects, bidding on your behalf, handling payment and sending acquisitions to your collection.
